This was post op day #3....Friday the 26th. I really like that Friday's goal was "put on pants." Thursday night was a rough night, with a nurse who came in and reclined my bed into a flat position. I HAD JUST HAD ABDOMINAL SURGERY AND THAT HURTS LIKE HELL. I'm still convinced the one lingering pain I have is from her stupidity. But whatever, she paid for it in having to collect my urine for my 5HIAA sample. When you have an IV and a catheter, you have a lot of urine. Best advice from today's card? "Forget yesterday." Too bad my mom didn't realize how easily I would be forgetting yesterday now that I have radiation brain.
