Good eggs

I've been wanting y'all to know this for a while now, so listen up.

People think that just because a certain treatment isn't covered, that my insurance company must be big bad and evil.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  My insurance company is helpful, easy to work with, fixes clerical errors quickly, and working with them has been an incredible experience.  I have nothing bad to say about them at all (knock on wood).

In addition, my employer is pretty much the bomb.  They have done everything in their powers to help me along in this process.  They have given me the time I need to fully recover from my surgery, and I know they are chomping at the bit to have me back at work.  I mean, it pretty much sucks for them when the one funny person in the whole place is out for as long as I have been out.

So a big thank you to Big Corporations and Big Insurance Companies.  They make me cry happy tears too.

Wow, don't hear that too often . . . Also, most large plans are on an ASO (administrative services only) basis or in other words self-insured. So lower claims costs just passed thru to the employer and the insurance company doesn't make any more or less money when services are not covered. . . . But most importantly, great to hear both have been helpful!
